It is my turn to interview one of the members of our Buzznet community this week and my choice fell on this incredible young man, Jacob. His posts include simple yet amazing photos that show fragments of his life on college and around Kentucky.
[There's a place off Ocean Avenue, where I used to sit and talk with you.]
How old are you?
I'm currently 19 years old, as of May!
Where do you live?
I live in a small town in southern Kentucky! It's literally the middle-of-nowhere, USA!
I love the fact that Jacob is passionate about his college.

How did you hear about Buzznet?
I heard about Buzznet through following Audrey Kitching during my earlier years of high school!
What keeps you here on Buzznet?
I stay on Buzznet because there is really no other place on the internet like it. The content is incredibly unique, the community here is really diverse, and I am always amazed at the talent that this site encompasses. The internet is often just a place for people to post content that has been posted prior or a place that has users that do not really care about the quality of their work. While that is not always true of all internet sites, I feel that Buzznet epitomizes the opposite of that. It's awesome here!
This photo shows great fashion sense
What do you want to see more of on Buzznet?
I'd love to see more photo projects/assignments - during school I often get too busy to do a lot of things on here, but they are so fun to complete!
Name three awesome projects you've taken part of on Buzznet.
The kick ass BSTG assignments, a plethora of photo assignments, and the Christmas exchange.
Passion Pit is one of his favourite bands. Win!
Favorite group on Buzznet? Why is it your favorite?
My favorite group is the BSTG - it's genius! I love reading what people have to say!
Cats or dogs?
Dogs, of course! I have a toy poodle named Hollie!
Since you love taking photos, what's your favorite thing to photograph?
My favorite thing to photograph is probably people or the places that I go (monuments, restaurants, downtown buildings, etc). If it looks like something you'd just walk by, or if it is something that looks old and dingy, it's probably something I want to photograph!
Look at this amazing vintage bookend his owns for decades now. Lovely!
Have you learned anything on Buzznet that you might not have learned if you weren't here?
I have learned to accept myself. As cheesy as that sounds, it is true. I joined Buzznet during high school during a really awkward phase of my life. I met many awesome people that accepted me for who I am and I will be forever appreciative of them. Lory, this one is for you! I love you!
Any final thoughts for us about Buzznet?
Stay awesome, stay classy, and always be a little sassy, Buzznet!
Thank you, Jacob for taking time for this interview! I loved your answers!
