Emerging Talent: William Control

I got to know William Control`s music when I started to love Black Veil Brides 4 weeks ago and I saw he is supporting them on their actual ‘The Church of The Wild Ones’ tour and also the voice of F.E.A.R. on the band`s new album. I became curious because William`s image is like an ancient mysterious spooky vampire – NOT the Edward Cullen type - and I like that! So I checked the music and I was like “damn this is great! Halloween came early this year!” William Control is actually the solo project of Will Francis; singer of the Seattle, Washington based band, Aiden so some of you might be familiar with him already.

The idea to introduce William Control within the Emerging Talent Month came, when I saw his tweet saying “Without a manager, label, publisher and direction, I exist, my music exists because of YOU and your love. Thank you so fucking much.” Now, that is someone worth to mention and also a great inspiration to other artists who are struggling to get a record deal at a mayor label.

The songs and the music videos all together totally match with the image I already mentioned. The lyrics are simply brilliant and the sound to me is like a new kind of Depeche Mode – that I normally wouldn`t like because I`m the rebellious child of my mother who likes them - with a lot of darkness and sexuality.

Take a look but be careful; these music videos are brutal, contain nudity+blood and at the same time they still happen to be awesome.  

William Control is currently out on tour with Black Veil Brides in the US...uhm for two more days. So new fans head out to San Francisco and West Hollywood! Then he`s doing a tour around the UK in April/May.
