What If I Went to Hogwarts? - Part 1

Oh my god, I`ve been waiting for weeks to post this gif, hahaha.

I bet you`re wondering what is this. Well, I dropped the idea of seeing the Chinese New Year celebrations yesterday and took a visit to Hogwarts instead. For real. Me and my firends headed to Watford to walk through the Warner Brothers Studios (At this point I`d like to thank for Bori and Wero again for coming with me!). It was awesome! 

Here are the photos and a little explanation of what I did there:

Right at the entrance, there is Harry`s old cupborad room

First of all, they made us watch a little movie then we could enter on the main gate...

...where the magic started. This is the room where those fabulous dinners, balls, breakfasts or even fight scenes were filmed. Sadly, the ceiling isn`t enchanted and I wish the tables were set properly as on the movies. I love that huge fireplace on the left corner of the photo though. 

The guide told us, the things on display are the originals they used on the set. You can see some of the costumes on this photo below. The big saloon suddenly doesn`t seem so big, huh?

After the saloon we walked to a big hangar where you could find all the goods...

This was a weird thing that I can`t explain. I guess they created the hallway with mirrors.

Looking at the Mirror of Erised, we realized that we don`t have desperate desires. 

The club room is something I want my lounge to look like.

Professor Dumbledoor invited us to his office but he did not let us try on the sorting hat. Which house do I belong to? It stays a mystery. 

Snape`s laboratory is a place where I would like to learn the making of magic potions. 

The portraits had a day off because they weren`t moving.

That isn`t how the brooms were moved, it`s just the broom holder. They can actually fly. 

This is that box where one of the teachers was locked in. I forgot the names. Above the box, there is a mirror and you can see a man lying on the bottom of the box. 

The Weasley household. The knifes and other stuff were moving by themselves! Magic!

Oh, the dangerous Death Eaters were just standing there...

...waiting for you to get the Dark Mark.

The most hated Hogwarts professor, Dolores Umbridge has got a pretty pink princess residence. (see what I did there with the alliterations)

Going out to the garden wasn`t a good idea but once you`re there you can`t miss out on anything. It was freezing cold and snowing. 

There were some attractions like the purple bus, or Hagrid`s motorcycle that you could try. Wero and I have a photo in the flying Weasley car. I can`t post that though because we`re drinking butterbeer while driving! So badass! 

The bridge! Unfortunately, you can`t go on it.

The famous butterbeer is actually cold (I imagined it as a hot winter drink) and tastes like ginger beer topped with whipped cream. Very delicious if you are drinking it in summer. Otherwise it`s too cold. 

The last section of the studio introduces you the actual work behind the movies. You can meet here with Fawkes, the phoenix...

...scary sea monsters (I might put this as a profile picture, haha)...

...and discover Hagrid`s secret. Yep, he is the Terminator...or the Predator? It`s better if we don`t find it out. 

Professor Lupin is patiently waiting in a glass cage...

Uhm, no idea what are these but that little bird looks cute.
