Photo Blog: I Went Home For Christmas
I haven`t been active here while I was on holiday at home but now I`m back in London - I arrived last night - and working which means I`ve got time to be online. Not that I was so busy that I couldn`t post at home...I was busy doing nothing! Haha!
Although the title has festive style, there won`t be any festive photos here because I didn`t take other than the Christmas tree photos you`ve already seen. I wanted to go to town to capture the Christmas fair and lights but that didn`t happen. Christmas came and went too fast with lots of sunshine. Hungary, compared to England, is the land of sunshine and I miss that already.
About the productive part of being home: I saw the Nutcracker ballet and it was great. I also went to the cinema to watch Les Miserables. I`m not very impressed. I haven`t finished the book yet but it seems rushed and the singing was too much to me. I did like the costumes though and the young caracters of the revolution. Helena Bonham-Carter and Sasha Baron-Cohen as the Thenardiers were fabulous too.
Then, I became Le Miserable because I got sick. Stomach virus. I`m fine now but it went through all the family.
Oh, the photos...

10 minute sightseeing in snowy Budapest before I took the train to my hometown. I was happy about a white Christmas but there was no snow on the West.

Oscar likes USA. Aparently, he likes to spend his time out of the aquarium and climbing on things like the pillow...and me. I forgot to take photo of the other turtle and the bunny. They were out of sight as usual.

Dad built out the loft so we`ve got a new room - where my sister and I had a slumber party - and bathroom with and awesome looking mirror and a new lounge where mum can create clothes. I kind of want to move back now.

This is a strawberry drink where you don`t have to put the thing into the milk because it`s in the straw and you can drink it like that. Awesome, huh? Plus it tastes good! I need to find this at English shops.

Bundas being cute

and dirty.

Well, this is Colin`s favourite activity...running after that thing.

They ran after a big group of deer then disappeared for a long time leaving me alone in the woods. Naughty dogs.

There is a huge meadow at the end of this path. It`s beautiful and hidden with trees all around it.

Deers running on the fields.

So many photos...I wish I could spend my weekends at home but there is no time and money for that. I realized I miss walking on the fields more than the people. Once I disappeared for about 3 hours then mum told me it`s better when I`m not home so the dogs stay clean, haha.
Basically that was my Christmas holiday. I`ve spent New Years Eve feeling horrible and dogsitting Colin in the garage since he is scared of fireworks and didn`t stay in the cage with Bundas. It was a funny situation though. He, the big dog, was curled up under a table right next to our little bunny who wasn`t scared at all. Why aren`t bunnies scared of fireworks by the way?
Hope you liked the photos and happy new year! I have no resolution.
