I`m all over with the new Kids In Glass Houses song 'Secret Santa' now, however I`m still attempting to write about something else but still Christmas related. Let me save that for next week`s playlist. I`ve got some of my favourite Christmas covers in my repertoire today.

Don`t tell me they aren`t the cutest couple ever playing their version of this holiday classic. Plus the ukulele brings Hawaii-feeling into it which makes it even better.

This might be one of the best covers for Mariah Carey`s ultimate Christmas hit since 1994 although it`s guitar chords are spookily similar to The New Amsterdams` 'Turn Out The Light'. It`s on my X-mas playlist since the first day I`ve heard it.

The Maine - Last Christmas

If you`re like me and Wham!`s original is too boring to listen to everyday - starting October - while hanging out at the mall then you definitely need this amazing version by The Maine. You can find this song on their holiday EP "...And A Happy New Year"

Natives - I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day

Few days ago, the upcoming British band revealed their version for fellow British, Wizzard`s classic from 1973. Besides keeping the festive feel, Natives brilliantly brought their own style into this cover. Own Christmas songs next year maybe?

I simply adore Elvis Presley`s Christmas song covers. They should play his songs at Hyde Park`s Winter Wonderland to bring holiday feeling and coziness into the park.
