Buzznet Storytellers Assignment #22: I Am Thankful For...

We don`t celebrate Thanksgiving in Hungary where I`m from nor in England where I`m currently living but I think it`s a great opportunity to appraise another year behind us and say out loud what are we thankful for. 

I am thankful for my family. My parents because they are always supporting me; without them I couldn`t be able to learn languages, move to another country and have a place called home. I am also glad they are looking after my pets and didn`t throw them out after I left, haha (when I visited home a few weeks ago, I even bought a bonbon in metal box with 'Thank you for looking after my dog' sign...they hasn`t got any turtle version at the shop though). My brother and sister because they are annoying and we can get into an argument in 2 minutes right after we haven`t seen eachother for months but because of their existance I didn`t became a spoiled child. I always had to share my toys with them. Even my room with my sister, who calls that room as "my room" now - I don`t agree with that. It`s still mine. And the other parts of the family as well because without them I couldn`t have big family dinners when it`s time to come together.

I am thankful for my pets even I`m not able to look after them by myself now because they are far far away from me. I terribly miss them. They are a messy bunch but I`m sure even my parents secretly like them although they always say they hate them. 

I am thankful for my friends. Old and new. It`s great to have people to spend time with whether I am in Hungary or in England and go on adventures with them. And YOU, Buzznet-friends as well! Thank you for reading my silly things and checking out my amateur photography and lame music journals. It means a lot! I hope one day we all can meet for a huge Thanksgivin dinner.

I am thankful I`ve got the strength and health to live miles aways from the place where I grew up, discover the world and the opportunity to travel or see my favourite bands live when I`m not broke, haha. 

That`s my turkey! I would rather cuddle it than eat it. Sorry, my drawing skills aren`t the best and I was lazy to go downstaris to steal some coloured pencils from the kids, haha.
