BSTA #19 - My Style

My style is very simple on normal days but when it comes to dressing up for some occation...well, that`s the real deal. I love wearing pretty clothes. 

The everyday-style to me is skinny jeans, some kind of shirt, sneakers and a blazer or knitted jumper, depending on the weather. In summer I prefer shorts with tops and sandals or light summer dresses. Main fashion rule is to never wear socks with sandals therefore my feet are always dirty in summer and it takes extra 10 minutes to clean them by the end of the day, haha- I love walking barefoot too. In autumn and winter, following the 'warmer is better' scheme, I`m wearing everything (coat, hat, scarf, gloves) just to stay warm because I hate cold. Unfortunately I couldn`t find the perfect very warm knitted jumper for winter yet and I also need new boots for this year.

My wardrobe is quite limited at the moment since I`ve left lot of my stuff in Hungary and I realized subsequently that it would be nice to have all my clothes and accessorize with me. Especially my favourite winter coat made by my mum which looks totally posh and I feel like Blair Waldorf walking on the Upper East Side when I`m wearing it. LOL And there is a dress also made by mum which would be perfect for my Paris trip but I left it home as well because I thought I won`t need it.

For this assignment, I`ve choosen some of my favourite pieces and these are mostly the ones my mum made for me. I just love them because you can`t find them at shops and they are pretty. This post actually could be a portfolio of her, haha. I took the photos last night but I didn`t included my head because I`m having bad hair days. :P

If I need to look formal, this white shirt is perfect. Not boring but still classy. Made by mum.

To be honest I`ve never worn these two in this composition before but I think it will be perfect for my Parisienne-look at the weekend if the weather allows shorts. The shirt is the prettiest I`ve ever had, made by mum. The short is H&M, I think.

Summer dress from New Look. Pretty sure ever other girl has it in the UK but I`ve fallen in love with it.

Summer maxi dress made by mum. I`ve never had the chance to wear it on the streets. The weather was either too cold or hot. I`ll take it to Paris (sorry I`m talking about this all the time but you know it`s one of fashion`s capital city so I need to look pretty :D)

I`ve bought this cape years ago but I still love it. Ideal wear for autum.

Somehow I always end up buying red shoes. I`ve got two different pairs of red at home as well. :D I feel ike Dorothy of Oz...

These are my everyday shoes and they are dirty all the time. I need new ballerineas though.

I love my cloutch bag and wish I had the chance to use it more often.

I keep my necklaces in the drawer. Don`t know why...even better, at home they were hung up on the wall!

The messy bunch. My bracelets and earrings. Some of them made by me or heritage from mums youngster era from the 80`s. I had to leave most of my jewelry at home because I we use them together with my sister. I don`t really wear jewelry these days but I love them.
