Today, I`m going to share the details of Sunday from Reading festival then I will fall into post-gig blues because I will realize it`s over until next year.
Usually the last days of any festivals are the crowdiest. The last day of Reading wasn`t different either. Being third day on site then, I`ve been really tired so I was just hanging around most of the time.
The firts act to see, on my list, were Of Monsters And Men. I got there a bit late and the NME stage`s tent was full of people by then. I was quite surprised how many people came to see them since they are quite new but then I realized it might be because of their popular debut with 'Little Things'. They made an incredible show, everyone was singing and dancing on the already mentioned song and I loved the last song they`ve played. It`s called 'Six Years'. Of Monsters And Men are one of the bands who are perfect for summer music festivals.

Next, I went to see Band of Skulls playing on the Main Stage. I don`t think the audience was very familiar with them but everyone enjoyed the show. They are totally rock 'n' roll and have brought a little of Woodstock and old-school rock vibes to the festival.

Then I was having a siesta laying in the dirt under the sun like everybody else while Eagles of Death Metal were playing the Main Stage. I`ve had no idea who they are, only heard their names but they were good to listen to something next to my power nap.
And finally The Gaslight Anthem came on the Main Stage! I`ve been very keen to see them because I`m loving the new album 'Handwritten' and they are very popular in the UK right now. I loved their show but it seemed too short to me. And I even spied with my little eyes the guys of Canterbury in the crowd. Breezy is might being slightly jeaulous right know.

All Time Low`s time came on the Main Stage. I`ve had so much fun on thier show, that was the part when I really had no voice but I was still singing along and I wanted to write some great things BUT all I`m going to do is complaining now because I`m sad. They`ve got some problems with some electrical noise coming out of the drums - Not exactly but something like that - and they had to turn the setlist into a surprise setlist. Which means they didn`t play 'The Reckless And The Brave'!!! I was SOOOO DISAPPOINTED! I`ve been waiting for that all day and been like "oh my gosh I`m gonna hear my summer anthem! they`re gonna play it! and everyone`s gonna singalong and I`m so excited!" then it just didn`t happen! FFFFF! I`m still disappointed though. That would have been the perfect place to hear the song first time live. COME BACK and play it to me until it`s summer!
I hope they`ll see this just to know how disappointed I am because of that one song.

Jack`s face=priceless :D
I`ve been running around the arena and was really bummed about that incident plus couldn`t find any good acts to see so just sat down, ate very expensive chicken noodles and watched Bullet For My Valentine on the Main Stage from the big screen. Also been thinking about why am I watching them when I don`t like them at all...
Then, Kaiser Chiefs` show was a totally craziness. Lot of smiling people, mosh pit`s and I couldn`t take normal photos. I like their show because they can put on a full set almost of the hit singles so everyone knew every single word. At 'I Predict A Riot' there was literally a riot and I was in the middle of not one but two mosh pits! Pretty mental show! I didn`t feel like going on that one because I haven`t listen to them for a while but I`ve had nothing better to do so I went and I`m glad I did.
That was just a tiny mosh
Even Batman came to party...and pirates...and SHARK!
The sky was beautiful again.
Under the tent of Festival Republic Stage, 2:54 were playing. They sounded really good and I loved how happy and greatful they were about the people who came to see them. It was a great moment.
The Black Keys have had an even bigger but slightly calmer crowd than Kaiser Chiefs although people went crazy on 'Lonely Boy'. I was waiting when will the man from the video come on stage but he didn`t. The reason I went to see them was to hear 'Gold On The Ceiling', my favourite song of them and it was great.
The Black Keys
I went to see the rest of the King Charles show at Festival Republic stage too and I walked straight into a dancing carnival. It was amazing!

There was only one performance left on the Main Stage but before that, I went to take my last photos of the arena and also caught the concert of Gallows because I wanted to see how the new singer is doing his job instead of Frank Carter. The style is too hardcore to me but I really liked one of the songs they were playing. And the best thing about them: this band is originally from Watford too! That town has some talented boys. There must be something in the air.
And finally...8:30pm...the rock legend headliners...FOO FIGHTERS on Main Stage! What an emotional and memorable show! They played the biggest hits. I haven`t got the courage to go on the front so I was just watching from the distance because I knew it will massive down there, even Dave warned the kids to be really careful and help each other if one of them falls, during the finale of 'The Pretender'. Taylor Hawkings was phenomenal on the drums. They were speaking about each other in superlatives in their speach. 'Best of You' was dedicated to the man who were filming all of the shows Dave Grohl played in the past 20 years and who retired after this Reading show. That was the most emotional song I`ve ever heard live. After 2 hours of playing they went down the stage but came back after a 5 minutes break to play for another half hour. Among others, we sang 'Happy Birthday' to Dave`s mum, he made a history speach about how special Reading festival is to him and his career with Nirvana and Foo Fighters (I really liked that part) and that this show was the last stop of their current tour and the last one for a while. Then BOOM fireworks! I`m so happy I could be the part of this and now, I know why are they really legends. Thank you for an amazing two and a half hours, I even forgot to take a normal photo!
If you weren`t there I strongly recommend to watch Foo Fighters` show HERE! Funny thing is if you start typing "Foo " on Google the second suggestion it will give you will be "Foo Fighters Reading 2012". Looks like it was that awesome!
Also you can watch all of the gigs on BBC`s site here to catch up, but unfortunatly those aren`t the full sets. What I don`t understand why since they were filming the entire weekend.
Take a look on Day 1 and Day 2 as well.
And to close this entire thing, here is a photo of my wristband. The coolest looking wristband ever. Thanks for reading, thanks for Festival Republic for an amazing weekend and organization and hopefully see you next year!
WATCH THE FOO FIGHTERS SHOW!!!
