A Day At Wireless Festival Part 3 - Jessie J And Rihanna
Here we are at the final part of my blog trilogy. Check out the first part here and the second part here if you haven`t yet!
I`ve brought you Cher Lloyd (who`s getting ready for her America`s Got Talent guest performance), Rizzle Kicks, Pitbull, J. Cole and Labrinth so far but here are the top stars and the last two performers of the main stage from Wireless festival 2012: Jessie J and Rihanna!

We were waiting about half an hour in the rain for Jessie J`s concerts to start. To build her stage took that long. Luckily Nora has had a massive umbrella which her and I plus bunch of other people could stand under. It was also occurence for water some of those people. Having no water with them, literally they were drinking the rain from the umbrella. Mental :D
Then minutes before Jessie came on stage, the rain stoped, the sky became beautiful like shown above and the sun was shining straight to the stage.

Remember to the rainbow from the second part? Well, Jessie has a sond called "Rainbow" and she was singing it live too. Programmed weather again huh? Hilarious.
As you can see, she was in great condicion. I love Jessie`s style. So unique. And I love how she combined the stripes and military and colours with denim shorts and a simple white top. These 90`s vibes look better now than they did in the 90`s.

Just to talk about the live experience too, her voice was amazing and to me, her concert was the highlight of the day. She and her band made a great show, has great sense of humour (started to sing Rihanna and stuff) and even picked up a lucky girl to sing "Price Tag" with her and who could stay on stage until the end of the show. Secretly I was hoping B.O.B. will show up for that song. They also played a cover for Bob Marley`s "One Love" which is a personal favourite to me. The last song was "Domino". Another song made for live performance.

Here comes a huge portion of Rihanna!

And finally the headliner Rihanna! It was a long time to build the Egypt-style stage but worth it. I was quite surprised that Rihanna was wearing that many clothes on her. You know she barely wears anything nowadays but with that body she can afford it.

People went crazy. And this girl`s hand below was always blocking my view. SO annoying! Random people`s hands were always on the worst place in most of my photos when I looked back on them. I might make a separate post for them with the title "Photobombs on high levels". (do not steal this title or I hunt you down in Hunger Games style muhahah!)

She came down THAT close to the crowd. Hungarian girl says herring-party was happening there.
The sound, lights, choreography and stage design were amazing. Of course it was raining. Rihanna played her biggest hits but there was a moment when she went down from stage after saying thanks and everyone thought it`s finished, she won`t play "We Found Love".

"Laserlight, burning up, burning down..." upps...wrong artist ;) See, random hand again...

If you like big muscles than you`re welcome for this. That`s too much for me.

I was waiting for flames but only You Me At Six can afford that on UK festivals.

After the little break, she came back for three more songs. "Umbrella" was one of them and everyone put their umbrella`s on. This song was matching perfectly with that day`s weather too eventhough it wasn`t raining at that song. This is the last example for the connection between music and weather at Wireless.
The performance for "Love The Way You Lie" was beautiful. The full audience was singing. I wish Eminem showed up just to make my brother jealous. Also it was quite strange that Drake didn`t helped her out at their collaboration songs since he was there performing at the festival the day before.
Sorry for the very bad photos from here but my camera died and I had to use my phone.
They threw huge ballooons on us! And fireworks but I couldn`t see those properly from the front of stage.

This is the grand finale during "We Found Love". And Calvin Harris didn`t showed up either! He`s had a show on the same day too though so he really could make it. Whatever...The point is the organizers couldn`t find better artist to close this 3 days. It is just a bonus and makes it even better that she finished with the biggest hit single of this summer.

I was in front of the confetti, balloon and smoke action at the end. I`ve got a video of it in very bad quality but it shows how awsome was it.
And finally a few photos to show how did Hyde Park look like after the party:

Imagine 65 000 super muddy zombie-lookalike in wellies, heading out of Hyde Park to the fanciest streets of London in the middle of the night and hijacking the tube and train stations. That is exactly what happened. And perhaps this was the reason the emergency alarms turned on at St. Pancras station and they sent us out to the streets just minutes before one of my last trains should`ve arrived. But they let us back, I reached the train, got home at 1am and started to work at 8:30am on Monday morning. So that was the complication what happened on my way back home. Like I said, I seriously can`t get home without excitements after a day/night in central London.
So that is how a day looks like at Wireless festival without going on toilet or eating anything else but Oreos and seeing nothing except the main stage. Cuz that was what Nora and I did!
I hope you`ve enjoyed this trilogy and get ready for a massive 3 days of Reading festival report in 6 weeks! No idea how will I manage to do that but it will be fun!
