Dora's Photo Stream
Snowy Days
You can see how it was snowing in the North-London area on the left photo yesterday. On the right is our front garden in Hungary after Sunday`s snow fall; my sister sent that photo to me. Our snow is melted already (there was a beautiful sunset yesterday after the snow, I`ll post the photo of it later) but the Hungarians can enjoy more of it. I read on the news that Budapest and my hometown`s traffic has stopped, some schools were cancelled and public transport was on late. All this because of 25 centimetres of snow. Sounds ridiculous comparing to the Russian`s snow situation each year. I wish the English snow stayed because I was really looking forward to go out and take photos today...oh, if I weren`t so lazy yesterday...
Sorry about this weather speech but snow made me way too excited especially now, that it`s January. Nothing happens in January. I realized today, it might be the most boring month. You are back to work and the daily routine after the holidays, fighting with the plus weight you put on during the big family feasts (if you did so. I have never understood this thing) and to me there is not even a birthday to celebrate. Good thing is, the days are getting longer. I`ve got the same feeling with February, besides there is my name-day (we celebrate name-day in Hungary. Dora is 6th February) and birthday but nothing extra.
